- Verification data: Mariner last name, reference number, first name, and position title submitted for verification
- Payment information: Processed and stored securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers
- Usage data: Pages visited, verification history, and interaction data collected via Google Analytics
- Communications: Messages submitted through our contact form
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfill credential verification requests
- To deliver PDF reports to your email address
- To manage your account and verification credits
- To respond to support requests and inquiries
- To improve the Service through aggregated usage analytics
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third parties as necessary to operate the Service:
- U.S. Coast Guard NMC: Mariner last name and reference number are submitted to the NMC OSI system to retrieve publicly available credential data
- Stripe: Processes payments securely. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy
- Supabase: Database and backend infrastructure for storing orders and account data
- Resend: Email delivery service used to send PDF reports and notifications
- Google Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain verification records and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
