These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MMCVerify ("Service"), operated by Rich Coast Companies LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
MMCVerify is an automated credential verification tool that submits requests to the U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center (NMC) on your behalf and delivers a formatted PDF report containing publicly available credential information. MMCVerify is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Coast Guard or any government agency.
You may use MMCVerify only for lawful purposes, including employment screening, crew management, and maritime compliance verification. You agree not to:
All credential data is sourced directly from the U.S. Coast Guard NMC at the time of verification. MMCVerify makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data returned by the NMC. MMCVerify reports are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for official USCG records. We are not liable for errors or omissions in data provided by the NMC.
All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Due to the automated nature of the verification process, all sales are final and non-refundable once a verification request has been submitted to the NMC. If the NMC system is unavailable and no verification attempt is made, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days. For Fleet subscribers, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period with no partial refunds.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rich Coast Companies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on credential information, employment decisions, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rich Coast Companies LLC and its officers, directors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
